Jason Chickering Project Manager

Originally from North Carolina, Jason is no stranger to hard work. Beginning his career in construction as a laborer, he grew through the trades into project management and leadership, where he has spent the past two decades guiding teams, managing budgets, and delivering successful projects with integrity. Family and community are central to who he is—Jason is a devoted father to three sons and engaged to his fiancée, Alyssa. For 18 years, he has coached youth sports, instilling teamwork and discipline. He also founded Claim Jumpers Inc., supporting women’s shelters, veterans, and the unhoused, and serves as President of Oaks Baseball Club.

Amber McCarthy Controller

Amber has dedicated 19 years to the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, building a career defined by versatility and leadership. She began with a decade at an engineering firm specializing in wineries and hospitality, later collaborating with architects, engineers, and biologists in landscape design and ecological restoration. Today, she supports high-end residential and multi-family construction at Earthtone Construction. Having held nearly every role within an administrative team, Amber developed specialized expertise in industry financial management and advanced into her current role as Controller and Administrative Department Manager. Beyond work, she is passionate about classic cars and an active member of Rollin’ Rosie’s Car Club, a nonprofit of women who organize events to raise funds for local community programs.

Jesse Debaca CEO

Jesse has spent more than two decades in the construction industry, shaping his career through hard work, vision, and leadership. Beginning in the trades and growing through field experience, he developed a deep understanding of how projects come together from the ground up. Today, as CEO of Earthtone Construction, Jesse leads with a commitment to quality, innovation, and community, guiding teams to deliver projects that balance craftsmanship with responsibility. Passionate about his craft, Jesse often says, “It’s not just about building structures; it’s about creating spaces that enhance lives and communities.” Outside of work, he enjoys time with family, the outdoors, and giving back to the community he proudly calls home.

Gabriel DeBaca Multi Family Manager

Gabriel serves as Senior Multi-Family Manager at Earthtone Construction, where he oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of complex residential and commercial projects. With a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from San Diego State University, he brings a strong foundation in data analysis, communication, and organization that supports project scope, budget, and schedule optimization. Gabriel began his career at Earthtone as a Project Engineer, gaining valuable technical and operational experience before advancing into management. Passionate about sustainable and innovative solutions, he is committed to creating projects that enhance communities. Known for his collaborative approach, Gabriel values integrity, efficiency, and delivering exceptional results.

Jose Ambriz

Jose grew up in Washington State and entered the construction industry right out of high school, completing an apprenticeship that exposed him to all facets of the trade. He went on to specialize in residential remodels and custom home building, where he developed a reputation for craftsmanship and adaptability. Jose’s unique strength lies in his ability to bring out the best in his team—he leads with encouragement, sets a high standard through his own work ethic, and creates an environment where people thrive. Known for his problem-solving skills and collaborative approach, he is a valuable asset to the Earthtone team. Outside of work, Jose enjoys running, weightlifting, and spending time with his family.
